Try it once, see if you like it. Best for age 11 and up. Your best piece will be trimmed and glazed (clear) and ready for pick up in about 3 weeks. $55

2 WEEK WHEEL CLASS SUITABLE FOR ADULTS OR TEENS:

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT 7:15PM

This 2-consecutive week class is great for commitment-phobes but will give you one more step in the process. The first class is focused on learning, experimenting and making simple cylindars with raw clay. Return the following week to finish, trim, decorate and embellish your favorite piece with underglaze. Finished pieces will be ready fo pick up in approx 3 weeks. $85 total.

This class is for people looking to refine their pottery skills or brand-new beginners getting your hands dirty for the first time. Opportunities to practice centering, creating different shapes, trimming and glazing are included. Clay is a mid-fire stoneware, microwave and dishwasher safe. $280

Practice your art and connect with the earth, two hours at a time. Your choice: Wheel or Hand-building. Basic instruction and inspiration offered. Please do not use the wheel without taking a class first (somewhere).

$40 includes plenty of white mid-fire stoneware clay, tools, firing. One item per session included, $5 per additional piece. Come back free of charge to trim wheel-thrown pieces. Items will be finished with a clear, shiny glaze, or register for a $10 glaze party to customize.

unwind with friends

FRIDAY NIGHT UNWIND (HAND-BUILDING) 7:30-9PM

Celebrate the end of the week with friends old and new in this stress-relieving workshop. Use slab, coil and pinch pot construction to build a seasonally-themed project of the week with stoneware clay. Ceramics will be dishwasher and microwave safe. Please allow 2-3 weeks for glazing and firing. Pieces will be finished with a clear, shiny glaze. $40 per person. No experience necessary.

EVERY FULL MOON

Write your grievances on a ceramic plate, then smash them to smithereens to the rage-releasing sound of live bagpipes. Follow up with a guided soft-clay meditation.

Weekly themes with step-by-step instructions are offered, or let your imagination run wild! $20 per person. Materials, tools, and firing included, no experience necessary. Artwork will be ready for pick up in approx 3 and will be finished with a clear, gloss glaze unless you register for a follow-up to paint it yourself.
